How do I search for addresses?

Searching in the current client

With the menu item Addresses > Research, you can search for a specific address or data set.

The research allows you to use the search criteria Address data field, Tracking link, and X-UID-HEADER.

  • Address data field: A search using the data fields set up for the current client.
  • Tracking link: Here a user can be searched for via a tracking URL. Expected format: http://domain.de/red.php?r=1234&lid=1170000&ln=1
  • X-UID-HEADER: Here, a user can be searched for via the string of the X-UID header from the head of an e-mail. Expected format: lttrd1170000d12345lttrd

Furthermore, you can search for IDs or parts of data field contents. You will receive a list of all addresses that conform to the request.

Searching in all clients

If you work with more than one client, you can also conduct a search through all of these clients. Here you can only search for an exact email address or customer ID. Find details of the address found by switching to the relevant subclient and using the address search there.

View or edit a data set

Select the relevant data set in the search results by clicking on the table row.

Actions

Through the buttons on the right, you can perform the following actions:

Edit

Here you find the most important data, such as name, postal address, etc., in the sections Identity, Address, and Custom.

Unsubscribe

Here you can manually add the user to the blacklist. This address will now not receive any messages from this client anymore.
