What is the maximum size of an attachment?
The maximum size of your mail attachment depends on the number of recipients of your mailings. As a guideline, the product of recipients and the size of your attachments should not exceed 16 GB.
Examples:

However, this should only be done in exceptional cases. We recommend that you provide PDFs and other attachments as online downloads and link to these in the email.
If the delivery of an attachment is absolutely necessary, make sure it is as small as possible. Most recipients do not expect large attachments and often react negatively to them (e.g., limited data volumes or restrictions in web clients).
You can generally limit the attachment size for a client.
Example: The entire attachment of an email is limited to 2.7 MB. In this case, a warning is issued if the sum of all attachments is larger.
