If an email is sent to more than one target group, it is necessary to check the two target groups for duplicates. Only then is it guaranteed that each user only receives one email.
By using the doublet filter tool, all overlaps of different target groups can be calculated, saved, or excluded. The base for the matching is the client-specific unique attribute (default: email; alternative: client number/custID).
At Addresses > Doublet Tool, you can select up to 20 target groups to compare. Once you've checked a target group, the Duplicate Comparison button will appear in the top right corner. You can either select all target groups by checking the list or select them from the dropdown list after clicking the button.
In the example shown here, three target groups shall be compared to each other. First, the order of alignment has to be set. To do so, move the elements via drag & drop into the right position. On top of the list has to be the target group, which represents your base. The target groups below are filtered out of the top one.
With the button Calculate doublets, the respective duplicate-free amounts are computed. The calculated overview shows the original number of original target groups in the column . The Contained in previous set column displays the duplicates, while the NOT contained in previous set column shows the non-overlapping set.
All sets with the symbol can be saved as target groups, which can then be found under Addresses > Lists. When saving the target groups, you have the option to limit them. To do this, enter any subset of the generated target group amount in the field provided. The limitation is carried out on a random basis of addresses.
Once the target group has been saved, the message Data saved appears.
