How do I analyze a sent campaign?

Go to Reporting > Campaigns to find a listing of all sent campaigns.

Those sent campaigns that are still waiting in queue are also listed here.

How do I find the campaign I want to analyze?

You can use the three black bars at the top right to fade in or hide columns if you are missing information in the list:

With the Advanced Search, you can choose the fields you want to search in. Look for specific words or parts of the word or even a point in time.
You can also combine some attributes:

Which campaign details can I see?

Go to Reporting and then click on the campaign you want to have a closer look at.

Execute the following actions by clicking the buttons on the right:

  • Copy campaign: The copied campaign can be found at Delivery → Drafts.
  • Share: You will receive a link to the reporting results, which you can share with external partners.
  • Export as CSV: You will receive a CSV file with your reporting data.

On the report site, you can see different key performance parameters and graphical charts. When there is more than one message included in the campaign you can distinguish between a summary of all messages and the results of a single message.

Click on one of the blue boxes with a performance parameter to open a timeline of events. Here is an example for Opens:

By clicking the kebab menu on the upper right, you may save those recipients who reacted as a target group. The system sends you to the target group site. This target group can be used for follow-up campaigns.

When the summary view of a campaign is selected, you will find further details below the reporting:

  • Mail Clients: Graphical display of the mail clients that were used.
  • Link-Tags: Statistics about thematically related links. The tagging takes place via URL parameter.
  • Deliverability of top 20 domains: This report tells you: For the 20 most frequent domains, the average opening and soft bounce rates are calculated - aggregated for all 20. This is for comparison. The same rates are calculated for each of those domains separately. The different domains may have a higher rate than the average or a lower one.
  • Summary: Gives an overview of the most relevant KPIs of the campaign.
  • Logfile: Contains information about the delivery.

When looking at Auto campaigns, you can display all or only active messages.

Which details about a single message can be analyzed?

When you only view the results of a single message, below the mail client graph there is this preview:

  • HTML preview: Click on „click here to show the message“ to open up the preview. It also shows the date of creation, the used master template, the subject line and the sender.
  • Text preview: The same preview and details for the text version.
  • Visual click report: Shows the amount of clicks on links within the preview.

The links are grouped by URL. You can analyze how often a URL appears in a creative and how often the URL has been clicked. The report shows a mixture of HTML and text URLs that have been clicked at least once. The black arrow shows the transfer of the tracking parameters to a landing page.

Add filter-based segments

In the reporting of a sent campaign, you can create a segment for a creative. The segment is defined on the basis of a selected filter and shows the KPIs for the segment's corresponding part of the target group.

For detailed instructions on how to create segments, see the article How can I segment the result of my campaign according to recipient characteristics?.

Campaign Details

By clicking on Details, you can see the general and the history of the sent campaign. The general shows the client, the description, the newsletter and the campaign code
