Where do I find access data for SFTP?

The GDPR requires the transfer of personal data via secure connections. Therefore, only SFTP connections and transmission via the frontend (HTTPS) are supported. For your client, promio.net provides an SFTP server on which personal data can be stored or retrieved from. The day after providing the first SSH key, all automatic processes of the client are available via SFTP.

In order to connect to the SFTP server, we need a public key from you. Generate a public key (if you do not already have one) and add it via the action button at the bottom right. Wait a few minutes for the key to be saved (see table SSH Keys: “Deployed to server”. Now connect to the server using the u.g. connection data and your private key. Accept the fingerprint that will be offered to you when you connect to the SFTP server for the first time.

You can find the access data that is needed to connect to the server at Settings > SSH keys.

To execute imports and exports via your SFTP account, you will need an FTP client such as WinSCP.
