Link tagging can be used to display statistics grouped by thematically-related links. For users of the profiler module, these tags can be converted into click profiles, and target groups can therefore be selected according to click profiles (see also target-group administration or filter). In addition there is the possibility of customising content. Email templates with customised content can adjust their content according to click profiles (and therefore the preferences of the reader). This creates more relevance for the recipient. Tags can be assigned retrospectively within the sent campaigns or when setting up the mailing, by attaching tags to the links. Tags are assigned manually in the sent campaign under the keyword “Link tagging”. When manually tagging links, there is also the option to Edit identical links in groups.
Tagging directly in the CMS: to do this, please use the following syntax:

In this example, the tags “Technology” and “Sport” are connected to the link http://www.promio.net/b2b/.
Go to Target Group Administration and select the filter function.
Address data can be filtered by certain profile data using the profiler. A prerequisite is that a profiler (questionnaire) has been laid down in your client.
One or more questions can be selected in the profiler filter. The connection between multiple questions can be an AND or an OR connection. You can create a new block of questions by clicking on the page symbol. If you confirm the selected filter with OK, addresses which correspond to the profile filter are then counted. In this way, different profile filters can be combined using several blocks of questions, and the number of addresses remaining after each block can be viewed. Users of the profiler module can also create click profiles of the users. However, for this purpose, it is essential that the links are tagged thematically. Tagging can be carried out manually or by allocating tags directly to the corresponding link (see also Link tagging). When at least one tag has been assigned every day, promio.net can enter the tags into the database and convert these into click profiles. The click profiles are re-calculated once a week (on Saturdays).
The “Click profiles” option can be clicked and the corresponding tag can be selected in the profiler filter. By clicking on the OK button, the addresses which correspond to the respective click profile are counted.
