You can exclude blacklist addresses from all future deliveries of your client.

At Addresses > Lists > E-Mail blacklist you can add single e-mail addresses to the client’s blacklist or import a longer list.

If the blacklist is very long or addresses have to be added on the blacklist regularly, you can create an automatic import process. If interested, please contact our support team via ticket.

If you want to exclude the addresses on the blacklist only once from the delivery of a certain campaign, you can create a comparing target group that shows which addresses of your data base are contained in the blacklist. This can be necessary when a customer delivers a blacklist to ban these form a booked standalone mailing.

But be careful: You have to import the positive data which you want to contact, BEFORE the comparing. This is the only way to ensure that the matching target group involves the full intersection between your complete data base and the delivered blacklist.

Proceed as follows:

1. To import the addresses go to Addresses > Lists > Target groups and click the button on the bottom right. Then select Create target group by file. The single column csv-file can include e-mail addresses, custID (customer ID) or ID (promio intern ID). It cannot have limiters like quotation marks before/after addresses.
2. Now find the file on your computer and upload it. This upload selects the addresses from your total mailuser data which are contained in the file.
3. Confirm the import with OK. Give a name to the file. This name will be used for the new target group which can be found at addresses > lists > target groups now. It contains the intersection between the blacklist and the complete data base. Please consider, that this operation can take up to 1 min, depending on the size of the blacklist. The created matching target group may be empty, if no addresses from your data base are included in the blacklist.
4. You can now duplicate match your positive target group and the created blacklist. If your positive target group is not an auto target group, it is also possible to reduce the target group using the button Reduce target group.

Also a temporary exclusion of addresses is possible. Temporary blacklists can be used to not ban an e-mail address in general but to exclude it for a limited span of time from a specific delivery.
You can create these lists at Addresses > Lists > Temporary blacklist with the bottom right button.

You can import e-mail addresses or domains – also in an encrypted mode (MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512).

The encrypted mode must be configured and is not available as a standard feature. If you’re interested, please contact your account manager.

Domains can also be banned from delivery. For this occasion there is a domain blacklist available. A domain blacklist leads to addresses from this domain will be excluded during address imports or via address generation.

If you would like to add domains to the domain blacklist, please contact our support team via ticket. The already existing data base will not be compared to the blacklist. E-Mail-addresses that match the domain have to be unsubscribed manually.

The automatic import is the preferred way. It guarantees that all matching data base entries will be unsubscribed. If you want to activate an automatic blacklist import, please contact our support team via ticket.
