How do I create a subscription form?
1. Set up a new address generation
You can set up a new address generation under Addresses > Generation via this button:
Via Create interface the following window will open up. Here you can you’re your interface, add a promotional code and select the Opt-in type. Also you have the option to allow re-subscriptions after successful unsubscriptions.
The new address generation is now set up and equipped with an ID.
2. Fill in content
Configurations
Underneath the tab Configurations you can make changes to settings mentioned above. You can also choose one or more auto target groups if the user is to be automatically added or removed from an auto target group after successful registration:
Confirmation mails
In the tab Confirmation mails you enter the from address, the subject as well as the HTML or TXT for your Opt-in e-mail. If wanted so you can also construct a confirmation e-mail which is sent after the successful double opt-in.
For the integration of variable parts, such as a personalization, please click the button Placeholder. Click a placeholder to insert it. Only use salutation placeholders if required personal data are queried in the form and transmitted to promio.connect.
A double opt-in e-mail must include an opt-in link. You can use the system Optin-Link (placeholder “Standard opt-in link”). If you want to use a separate page for the opt-in, the parameters to identify the subscriber must be appended to the URL. Use the variable appendix for opt-in links for this purpose. Form configuration
promio.connect stellt Ihnen URL's für Standard Formulare zur Verfügung, die bei erfolgreicher bzw. fehlgeschlagener Anmeldung sowie nach erfolgreichem bzw. fehlgeschlagenem Double-Optin angezeigt werden.
Möchten Sie jedoch Ihre eigenen Anmelde- und Fehlerseiten verwenden, so können Sie die Redirects in dieses Formular eintragen:
promio.connect provides you URLs for default forms. The URLs are shown after a successful or failed registration. If you prefer to use your own login or error pages, you can insert the redirects into this form: You can choose between 3 different form lengths: small, medium and large. Promio.connect gives you the corresponding codes. You may use these to integrate the form on your website. Preview below:
We recommend testing an address generation form before using it live. Conduct a trial registration and check if it was completed successfully. Have a look whether your address was added in the generation or if it appears in the connected auto target group.
3. Statistics
Once the subscription form of an address generation is published, the statistics of subscriptions can be viewed in the detail view.
On the top you will find the following two measures:
Registrations – Number of registered users. When double opt-in is in use this number is independent from the DOI confirmation.
New Addresses – Number of registered users whose e-mail addresses were not in the client’s address total stock before.
Below this there is an overview of all address generations. Search for single users here. The lists shows the generated ID as well as the registration IP, e-mail, time of registration and of DOI, first name, and surname. The last column shows if the confirmation is already done, if double opt-in is in use.
On the very right you have the opportunity to resend the opt-in mail in case the user did not receive the first one. In exceptional cases it is also possible to manually confirm the double opt-in.
By clicking the button at the bottom right, you can save the following target groups:
4. Copy Interfaces
On the right side next to the list with the address generations you can copy the interface including all the settings.
